Windows 7 for $49.95 for Australian Students

I just stumbled across a little gem of a deal from Microsoft for Australian students that lets current students get Windows 7 for only $50, as opposed to $400+.

Basically they want to convince younger people not to illegally download software but instead purchase it, which is exactly why they have released Windows 7 Home for students for only $49.95 via their website. Normally it is over $300 for this so definitely worth asking a student you know or if you are a student taking advantage of this.

I have Windows 7 currently installed on my work computer and it is absolutely amazing, worth every cent. It helps you work faster and more productively with its intuitive design and interface.

So what is the catch?

You must be a currently registered student who has a University or TAFE email address. For example it must be a .edu.au address.

Where can you get it?
