    Hello,
The comments you make in relation to additional savings on the GIO greenslip are incorrect. The saving referred to in the statement from GIO is a saving on the cost of comprehensive insurance, not on the cost of the greenslip.
In fact, greenslip insurers in NSW are not allowed to discount the greenslip on the basis of product bundling. Discounts may be applied to other products by virtue of product bundling, which may include the greenslip, but not on the price of the greenslip itself.
    Thanks
    Stephen Treacey

**EDITORS NOTE** - Thanks Stephen, really appreciate you letting me know that. I will update the post so people know that you cannot save on the actual greenslip with GIO based upon bundling, but instead you will get $50 off your comprehensive insurance. Thanks again for the update!

  2. Great info - you saved me $120 in total when getting a greenslip. $50 off with GIO, and they were $70 extra cheaper than that of NRMA!!
