I am about to Bank $500 worth of coins
Listen carefully readers! COINS do add up! I have emptied my pockets/wallet of coins into a large container everyday after work for 6 months. Big deal right? Read on!
I have done this everyday for a few reasons:
1. Coins are annoying, they are bulky and heavy.
2. Its a great way to enforce small savings.
Through throwing around $4-5 worth of coins into a tin I cannot open each day on minimum (as its sealed and requires a can opener) I have manged to save around $500 worth of coins, thats a fair bit of money for very little effort!
I suggest you readers also do this, as it is ridiculously easy and adds up very quickly. The only hard thing about it is sorting them! It took me around 2hours to count/sort them into proper bags for the bank to process.
What will I do with my $500 worth of coins you may ask? Well, I could blow it on something materialistic – or I could use it to pay off my Debt. The latter of which I will be doing 
Credit Cards love getting a hit of $500 to $1000! Think of the interest saved by doing this in one go!

I used to do this all the time when i was little… but being 9 or 10 years old when i got to open it, i’d pissed it away. on drinks for my friends, food, junk…. just junk… if i hadn’t have done that, i swear id over way over… LOTS of money. Haha. But its and excellent idea. the “Un-openable” coin jar. ill go by one one the weekend,. a small one..
I want to open to more bank accounts. As of now, im 16. when i finish school i want to travel. the account i have now will be the one my pay checks go into. 15% will go into a savings account and 15% into the travel account… or 20% maybe %50 if i dont feel like shopping. who knows. But it’s ALWAYS worth it in the long run…. just imagine… you could be sitting under the eiffel tower drinking coffee with some rediculously good looking french guy,. =D
