Thumbs up swap meets

My family and I love to do crafts, all sorts. I am a self confessed hoarder.
Not a good combination, I normally won't throw anything away just in case I might find a use for it. To cut long story short everythings been changing, rearranging, sorting, throwing out and SELLING. A friend put me onto a swap meet that at the moment runs every sunday. It cost's me $15.00 to have two bays. I have been able to sell a range of stuff. From clothing I don't wear anymore. Some of it I hadn't fitted into for years... I kept thinking one day.
Videos from when the children were young. Crockery I inherited but don't use. Things from my husbands shed. The downside is to get a spot at this swapmeet you have to be there at 5 AM on a Sunday, for me I have to get up at 4 AM.
But it's been worth it. Roughly each time I've gone I have come home with an extra $100 after the cost of the bays, not bad for 1/2 a days work.
This is quite good since most things I sell from 50 cents. The highest priced item I have sold has been $7.50.
I have been only three times so far, I have a few more time to go yet.
If you happen to live in Western Australia come and check out the Belmont swap meet run by the Lions club. It's huge !!!
Maybe I'll see you there.
You'll know who I am because I plan to have flyers on the table advertising my money saving website RSM - Shop To Save. $$$ - Home
