Default Best tip for school lunches

I find the best way to save money on school lunches for the kids is to make them fresh sandwhiches the night before, using healthy bread and something simple like lettuce and ham.

Very good for you and rather cheap if you buy the products in bulk.

I also chuck in little treats like LCM's or Musli Bars to 'liven things up'

Default school lunches tips

Try to make the lunch the night before to make sure it's something they really want. I suggest you go for a sandwich using meat, cheese and tomato. Ziploc makes a perfect size container and it keeps the sandwich fresh.

When packing a lunch for your child, be sure it includes their favorite food. Stuff you know they like. A simple peanut butter sandwich and banana/apple makes a healthy meal.

Pack something that your child will love.

It must be something that meets their nutritional needs.

Tuna/ham and cheese sandwiches goes well with a piece of fruit.

Packing lunch for your kids can be a real challenge. You should have a wide variety to choose from so that your kids won't be bored of the same sandwiches that you prepare for them everyday. Try new things at home and list their favorites. Just make sure that it's healthy.
