Default What is the best credit card for balance transfers?

I am looking for a credit card that allows balance transfers.

I want to bring across a number of credit card debts all under one credit card so that my payments are more regular and ideally with a lower interest rate.

Most of the cards I can find have 6month 0% balance transfer offers, but ideally I am looking for something that offers a bit more time and lower interest rates?

I used the Citibank Gold Mastercard. They advertised a TV only deal one night that allowed for upto $20,000 worth of debt to be transfered to the Gold Card and an interest rate of 2.9% for 18months.

Not bad hey?

I just got one off your recomendation!

2.9% for 19months is the best deal I could find. Better than any credit unions could do. Fingers crossed I can pay it off before the end of that 18months though, other wise I will be transfering very quickly to a lower rate card.

The Citibank Gold Mastercard is a great deal but don't forget to check out the standard APR rate once the honeymoon period is over! The 0% 6 month balance transfer cards might not be as long but the standard variable rate is often much lower!

check out a few credit card comparison sites like (CreditCardKing.com.au) so that you can see all the balance transfer cards in one place.
