Thumbs up I just use an exercise book

When I set my budget and I usually review mine about every 2 years. I just a trustly little exercise book. And it works just as well as fancy computor programs. It just takes a little more thought and work to get it right.
How I get to the amount I set aside is really simple. For example to know how much to set aside weekly for the electricity bill, I would 1st get 12 months worth of bills together. Add them up, then divide by 52. The answer you come up with you then round up. ie $22.50 I would probably set aside $25.00 weekly. That's only a quick way to sort of explain it. I have written and shown it in more detail on my own website which is geared up for people saving money in a very different way. So if you have time go to RSM - Shop To Save. $$$ - Home
and go to the page on Budgets.
Lastly I have to say saving money by an form or method the very most important ingredient is to have and stick to A Budget.
Anyone will tell you the same the most successful buisness's put a lot of money. time and effort into getting their budgets spot on.
Cheers Carole
