The trick to saving money on dog food is buying dog food in bulk. This means buying large quantities of your dog food in one go to further maximise the savings.

Instead of buying dog food from your local supermarket, the trick is to visit a wholesale or warehouse dog food supplier. You can buy dry dog food and wet dog food in vast quantities and save large amounts of money.

Buying dog food in bulk means one car visit a month

I often go on a Saturday to my local pet food warehouse and buy dry food in 30kg bags and cans of dog meat in pallets of 20. This means I don’t have to waste my time buying dog food each week and collect a number of benefits for doing so.

The first is that it saves me a huge amount of money by being organised. I buy once every two months and in such quantities that the price is dramatically reduced.

The second is the nutrition in the dog food I now buy is much higher as it isn’t a generic supermarket brand. The more nutrition means healthier and happier dogs and a lot less dog waste to pick up in the yard.

The more nutrition in your dog food means the less filler ingredients which results in far less to pick up each week.

More money, more time – this means more productivity

By saving huge amounts of money on my discount dog food along with saving time and energy, I can focus my time on more important things such as saving money and focusing on my financial goals all the while having healthy and happy dogs in my life.
